About the director

I’m Marguerite du Plooy, and I assist Architects, Construction, Realtors and Property Developers attract more sales and drive greater engagement to their online social media platforms and website with the use of high quality attention grabbing images.

With over 12 years of experience as a professional photographer I have shot over 500 properties to help clients sell their homes faster.

I have worked closely with well-known brands in realty such as Seeff, Leapfrog, Greeff, Remax, Rawson, Vacasa, Air BnB, and Bidx1. I have photographed marketing campaigns for Shopping Malls in the Hyprop stable such as Cape Gate and Somerset mall and interiors  for Native Interiors, New Ideas Company and Stripe Interiors.

As any businessperson understands, communication of product and message is key and having have worked with a variety of nationalities, people and companies large and small from around the globe I can take care in communicating your brand message into a visual image concept.

Photography can be a place to reflect your own values, thoughts, and desires, and to manifest the kind of world you want to see.

To this end I have developed a secondary and very much related passion in the study of permaculture.

Permaculture is the development of agricultural ecosystems which are self -sufficient and sustainable.
There is much more to permaculture than that of course but the important part for me is people-care, earth-care and animal-care. The onion forms part of making compost, growing food which leads to looking after the earth in a sustainable way and therefore looking after ourselves and future generations ensuring we curate the Earth to the best of our ability.

It is, as Geoff Lawton, a permaculture leader, says:
“A system that respects life in all its forms so that it makes the world a better place for all living things.”
In photography I find my creativity can be applied to accentuating the beauty of spaces and things, man-made creations. In permaculture I have the opportunity to accentuate what we have been gifted in nature on this earth and create beautiful bountiful spaces which are easy on the eye and the spirit.
